The Linyi Xingang Wood Industry New Materials Technology Research Institute was established in 2019 (hereinafter referred to as the "Research Institute"), with more than 40 personnel. The research institute focuses on improving the independent innovation capability of the industry, adhering to the principle of enterprise oriented, resource integration, and common development. In 2022, the research institute was rated as a new research and development institution in Shandong Province and approved as a national CNAS accredited laboratory; In 2023, it was recognized by the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance as a professional laboratory for biomimetic formaldehyde free artificial boards. The research institute, relying on Xingang Global Group, has established industry university research cooperation with major universities and research institutes, bridging the last mile of achievement transformation.

At present, the research institute has participated in the research and development of key projects in the 14th Five Year Plan of China, undertaken major green and livable science and technology demonstration projects in Shandong Province, key research and development projects of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and school enterprise cooperation projects, and completed multiple new products and technologies; Apply for 50 authorized patents, participate in 14 standard formulation, including 8 national standards; Published over 10 papers, including 4 SCI papers; Received multiple awards, including the Linyi City Science and Technology Award, Shandong Province Enterprise Technology Innovation Award, and Huaihai Science and Technology Award.
